Nielsen Electric, the eldest contractor in Alameda, was founded as a one-man operation by Tom Nielsen during the depths of the Depression in 1932. In the 1950s, Tom's son, Eric A. Nielsen, and his wife, Diana Traini Nielsen, assumed ownership of the business. Nielsen Electric is a fully licensed, bonded, and insured premier hometown electrical contractor serving the Bay Area.
